Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm the presence - current or past - of any individual as being resident in a St Mungo's hostel or accommodation project within guidelines set out in the Data Protection Act 1998. The Act controls how organisations use and pass on personal details about individuals to third parties, without the consent of the person who the information is related to.
We do try to find lost friends and relatives by checking our records. If we are able to find someone, we pass on all messages and try to encourage them to make contact with their family and friends.
