St Mungo's mental health work
Mental health issues are much harder to detect than physical problems. Treating them is just as important. Our Lifeworks project runs across central London and provides psychotherapy and counselling for adults who are, or at risk of becoming homeless.
The project is a great success. Of those referred, over 63% have taken up therapy and, of those, over 75% of whom attend regularly. The project was recently shortlisted for the Andrew Ludlow homelessness award!
Just £15 will pay for a health check with a nurse, visit our online shop to give a homeless person this gift.
