Volunteering

Team building days

To respond to increasing demand for volunteering opportunities, we are getting ready to launch our corporate team building programme. This will consist of full or half day courses to a group of 8-10 members of staff who will be taught a new skill by one of our clients who have undergone training. This could be anything from gardening to brick laying! The aims of these sessions is to encourage team spirit amongst your staff, while providing one of our cleints with the opportunity to lead, interact and teach.

The sessions will be shadowed by St Mungo's staff and will carry a fee of around £750. To register your interest please email us at corporate@mungos.org.

Christmas volunteering

Every Christmas companies in London and the South support our projects by fundraising in their offices, collecting Christmas presents for our clients, donating Christmas trees and volunteering their time to put up Christmas decorations with our residents.

During Christmas 2010 24 corporate supporters donated 1,263 Christmas presents to our clients and 47 hours of volunteering time. Between them they raised over £8,000.
