Volunteer for the charity that opens doors for homeless people
St Mungo's began life as a volunteer led organisation in 1969, with the express purpose of supporting the homeless. Since then our objectives have not changed and we now offer a range of services for the homeless in over 100 projects and services in London and the South. As ever, our volunteers still play an important role in supporting our clients.
We are recruiting right now for volunteers in our projects across London.
We need your help to support our Activities Programme, Volunteer Mental Health Befrienders and volunteers to help with our state of the art development in Brent.

Forum3 - Join us for the 10th Forum 3 Event taking place on the 24th & 25th September
We need your help (really we do) to attract new volunteers to join us. We need people willing to join us on our stand on either day for a few hours, where we'll be seeking lots and lots of new volunteers, and it will be a great opportunity for you to find out about the work that St Mungo's does.
So you're in the know, Forum3 is a fantastic resource for finding a job or volunteering opportunities in the charity and not-for-profit sector. Beginning in 2001, the event has gone from strength to strength with over 10,000 visitors expected to attend in 2010.
There is a programme of free seminars, available on a first come, first served basis, and we have 200 tickets up for grabs. Details can be found here http://www.forum3.co.uk/seminars_new.asp
To join us, all you need do is let us know which day you would be available to help out, and whether morning or afternoon is better for you.
We would love to hear from anyone who would like to join us, so let us know by contacting Volunteer Services:
