The media team works to communicate through print, broadcast and social media the different ways in which St Mungo's supports homeless people. You can also read more from clients, supporters, staff and volunteers on our Blog.
Judith became an apprentice reporter on the Redditch Weekly Mail, part of the Birmingham Post and Mail Group, in 1987 and worked for the Group until 1990. She then swapped Moseley for Madrid to teach English in Spain for two years.
Returning to the UK, she worked in public sector, then university PR, at first in the North East, then at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for nine years. She joined St Mungo's in 2009.
She enjoys the challenge of giving St Mungo's clients a voice to make their views and stories heard and supporting colleagues in the life-changing work they do.
Gemma has been working as media officer at St Mungo's for about 18 months. She has seven years' experience in public relations with a background in consumer and travel PR, running the press office at several major events and escorting travel journalists on trips all over the world.
Now firmly wedded to the third sector, Gemma relishes the job of communicating St Mungo's great work to the media. She enjoys keeping abreast of current affairs, travelling and cooking up a storm for friends and family.
