Right to Shelter

St Mungo's believes that the Government should commit to a legal human right to shelter: no-one in modern Britain should be forced to sleep on the streets. The homelessness safety net should be extended, by removing restrictive criteria for priority need and intentionality that often leaves single homeless adults with no alternative but the street.
