In eighteen months we have learned a great deal. We have a better understanding of clients' needs and concerns relating to work.
"We've underestimated some of the barriers to employment and it isn't as simple as putting in place specialist staff who will help you along the road".
Pathways to Employment is a journey. We need to work with clients over a period of weeks, months or even years.
The Pathways programme has now been expanded to three more hostels - Mare Street in Hackney, Endell Street near Covent Garden and Endsleigh Gardens in Euston. But we need to expand it into other hostels to ensure even more homeless people are given the opportunity to turn their lives around. With your help, we can develop this programme in the next few years and help more people find their pathway back into employment.
